Our transport vehicle is a fully converted Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, purpose-built for the realities of animal relocation – crash-tested kennel systems, climate control, and a self-contained power system that keeps everything running without depending on outside electricity.
That off-grid capability matters most in the moments it's hardest to plan for. During floods, wildfires, and other disasters, power and infrastructure are often the first things to fail, and that's exactly when animals need to move fastest. A vehicle that can run independently for days means we can respond when other options can't.
Every mile this van runs is funded by a combination of donors, grants, and support from our sister organization, Posh Concierge Animal Transport LLC, which rents the vehicle at fair market rate to help sustain our mission year-round.
